The Arts & Ecology Lab zero waste initiative uses invasive species from our landscape to create value-add products and craft. Bittersweet vine stifles the native plants and trees in our landscape and needs to be cleared. We are pleased to find that it can serve as a structural base for wreaths and floral installations. The cultivated and foraged flowers and grains in this wreath are preserved to extend the farm's abundance throughout the year. These wreaths, meant to be hung indoors, are a reminder that the farmscape is a delicately managed balance of cultivated and wild.
